2018 Pinot Noir Club Consensus

Source
A combination of grapes sourced from the Golden Retreat Vineyard in Summerland & our estate in South East Kelowna.
Winemaking
Pinot Noir clones 115, Pommard, 777, 828. 667 & Mt Eden. Grapes were hand harvested and fermented separately. Wild fermentation took place after approximately 6 days of cold soaking. The wine was barrel aged for 13 months in 25% new French Oak.
Tasting Notes
A barrel selection made by wine club members resulted in a blend with a lot of character. Scents of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla with a hint of preserved fig and cured meat on the nose. The palate showcases jammy red fruits and a touch of spice cake.
