2021 White Pinot Noir

Source
100% pinot noir grapes sourced from Hamilton Vineyard in Southeast Kelowna.
Winemaking
The pinot noir grapes are hand-harvested by our vineyard team, who select the larger clusters to produce this wine. A gentle whole bunch press allows minimal skin contact, and the free run juice is captured while avoiding colour extraction. The juice is fermented to complete dryness in a stainless-steel tank. The resulting wine is pale in appearance and fresh on the palate.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of gooseberry, honeydew, pear, and lime zest flood the nose, followed by stone fruit, elderflower, and grapefruit rind on the palate. Finishes with crisp mouth-watering acidity.

Reviews
92. This wine begins with aromas of apples, pears, lime and gooseberry. This are echoed on the palate in a delightful fruit salad of flavours. Racy acidity gives this wine a crisp and tangy finish. ~ John Schreiner on Wine
89. Consistently well-made is the best compliment I can pay this wine. It is simply a delicious spring and summer sipper made with Pinot Noir that gets pressed off the skins before any colour bleeds through; hence its white Pinot Noir moniker. The juice is cold-settled and fermented to a pleasing dryness before getting important time on its lees. The result is a floral, adult-style, almost northern Euro white full of pear, lime, mineral and melon. The finish has a touch of sea salt that supports a wide variety of food matches. Ready to drink; stock up. ~ Anthony Gismondi - Vancouver Sun
