100% pinot noir grapes sourced exclusively from our estate in the East Kelowna Slopes sub-GI.

Winemaking

Grape clones Dijon 115, 828, 777, and 667 were hand harvested, 90% destemmed, and after 7 days of cold soaking, ambient fermentation commenced. Approximately 21 days later the wine is moved to French oak barrels to age for 13 months (25% new oak).

Tasting Notes

Scents of hibiscus, blackberry jam, clove, and cinnamon greet the nose. There are pleasant nuances of forest floor and truffle mushroom. Dark cherry, raspberry, black currant, and cocoa coat the palate. The tannins are silky, and the wine is fruit forward.

Pair with beef ragu, roasted beets, chocolate truffles.
