Premium Chardonnay made from prized blocks of low yielding clone 95, a superior clone originating from the Côte d’Or, France.  Whole cluster pressed, fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 11 months (40% new). 

Complex aromatics with layers of ripe citrus and stone fruits mingling with marzipan and nutty oak elements.  Rich and creamy on the palate with fresh mineral acidity; soft textures with strength and underlying power.  Immediately approachable with cellaring potential reaching 7 years.  50 magnums produced.

SKU: 2017 Magnum Chardonnay

This vintage of Cuvee is made from our estate fruit, the Gentleman’s Farmer Vineyard, located in Southeast Kelowna.  Pinot Noir clones 828, 115, 667 and Mt. Eden are separately hand harvested, destemmed to small batches and cold soaked for 5-7 days before fermentation by indigenous yeasts. The total time on skins is 16 to 21 days. After gentle pressing, the wine completes malolactic fermentation and is aged 13 months in French oak barrels (40% new). 
 
Sweet black plum, minerals, and violet floral notes unfold. A deeply concentrated palate with dark red berry and cherry fruit mingling with gamey, savoury, and dried herb flavours. 48 magnums produced.
