2019 Pinot Noir Club Consensus
Source
A combination of grapes sourced from the Golden Retreat Vineyard in Summerland, Coyote Vineyard in West Kelowna & our estate in South East Kelowna.
Winemaking
Pinot Noir clones Pommard, 828, 667 & 115. Grapes were hand harvested and fermented separately. Wild fermentation took place after approximately 6 days of cold soaking. The wine was barrel aged for 13 months in 25% new French Oak.
Tasting Notes
A barrel selection made by wine club members resulted in a blend with a lot of character. Dark fruit, five spice and dusty cocoa on the nose. Medium body, soft tannin and red cherry on the palate.
