2021 Club Consensus Pinot Noir

Source
This year the winning selection of barrels is a combination of fruit from Summerland and East Kelowna.
Winemaking
Dijon clones 667, 115, 777 and Pommard grapes were hand harvested and fermented separately. After 5-7 days of cold soaking, spontaneous fermentation occurred. The wine was barrel aged for 13 months in 25% new French Oak.
Tasting Notes
A barrel selection made by wine club members resulted a beautifully balanced Pinot Noir. Flavours of Bing cherry, raspberry, liquorice, and tobacco tantalize the nose. While more dark fruit and spice come through on the palate. Flavours of dark berries, plum, cherry, clove and white pepper linger on the tongue.
